By choosing Glassfin Aquatics for your aquatic needs, you agree to follow proper care protocols for all living creatures and biological systems purchased through our store. Our systems are designed for long-term stability, and we expect all buyers to maintain appropriate water parameters and suitable environments for the species they select.
2. Livestock Guarantee and Acclimation
We take immense pride in the health and vitality of our fish and aquatic plants. We guarantee that all livestock is healthy and eating well at the time of departure.
- You must unpack and acclimate your fish immediately upon arrival using the provided drip-acclimation guidelines.
- We require visual proof within two hours of arrival if any livestock fails to tolerate the journey.
- We do not cover losses resulting from improper acclimation, sudden temperature fluctuations in your home, or incompatible tank mates.
3. Glass Aquariums and Cabinetry
Our rimless glass aquariums and custom mounting cabinets are crafted to the highest standard. Please inspect all glass panels and silicone seams immediately upon delivery.
- Any structural damage must be reported on the exact day of delivery.
- Cabinets must be placed on a completely level surface. Failure to level the stand voids any warranty on the glass aquarium, as uneven pressure can cause seam failure.
- Modifications to the cabinets or plumbing by unauthorized persons will void all structural guarantees.
4. Returns and Cancellations
Due to the sensitive nature of aquatic life and biosecurity protocols, we cannot accept returns on any live fish, invertebrates, or aquatic plants once they have left our facility. Dry goods, lighting, and unused filtration equipment may be returned within 14 days in their original, unopened packaging, subject to a standard restocking fee.
5. Education and Advice
Any advice provided by our staff regarding water chemistry, aquascaping, or species compatibility is offered in good faith based on standard industry practices. However, every enclosed ecosystem is unique. You are ultimately responsible for researching, maintaining, and monitoring your own aquarium's biological load and long-term stability.
